Please see the message below from the ICCRC with information on the Entry-to-Practice Exam (EPE):
We will be holding a series of EPE Information Sessions in September to present you with more information about the new online EPE application and our computer-based exam. These information sessions will be held via Zoom, and you may also attend by phone. Slides from the Information Session will be posted for download during the Information Session, and they will be made available by email afterwards.
Please sign up for the information session of your choice by going to and filling out the survey, which is available here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KMJVLWQ . The EPE Information Dates are as follows:
· Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 4:00 PM EDT
· Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 4:00 PM EDT
· Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 4:00 PM EDT
· Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 4:00 PM EDT
We anticipate that our transition to our new online EPE application will be completed alongside the early Information Sessions. We strongly recommend attending an Information Session, as you must proceed with the new process even if you have previously submitted an application.
In the interim, you can gather the necessary information needed for the new application process. You will need the following:
· Your personal information (email address, phone number, address, etc.)
· Your Canadian status-proving photo identification
· Your language tests results (the scores, your scanned results are not required)
· Your education institution and program completion date
· Your credit card or debit card information, as payment will be collected with your application
Please note that police certificates are no longer a part of the Entry-to-Practice Exam application. Police certificates are submitted by successful exam candidates as a part of their application for membership or RISIA registration.
The upcoming November EPE will be proctored online through ProctorU, and exam candidates will therefore be able to write their exam from the safety of their own homes. Additional information regarding ProctorU will be included in the EPE Information Sessions.
We are currently looking into in-person invigilation for selected EPE candidates, based on need and availability of suitable exam centres with appropriate social distancing measures. If you believe that you must write in person, please provide your reason on the survey, so that we may have a better understanding of the current need.
If you have any questions regarding how to schedule the Information Session, please let us know. Questions about the new application, the computer-based exam, and ProctorU will be addressed during the Information Sessions.
If you have any questions, please contact the ICCRC directly at email@example.com
